- Monitor the execution of the projects belonging to their group technologies and provide the appropriate corrective actions.
- Report the status of loading of their engineering teams to the Engineering Manager on monthly basis.
- Supervise the Engineering Software/ Hardware design documents to continuously enhance it.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of delivery service to clients.
- Assign teams to undertake implementation and execution in addition to the installation activities and follows-up on their work.
- Supervise the testing process including all internal, workshop, factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
- Prepare and submit monthly activity reports for his teams to the Engineering Manager.
- Review weekly progress reports submitted by their team leaders and meet with them to discuss any issues.
- Monitor and enhance all quality and software coding standards on all project technical activities.
- Submit staffing needs and hiring plan quarterly to the Engineering Manager.
- Cooperate with Presales team to carry out site survey, technical presentation, clarification meetings and technical solution verification
- Liaise with QC team to ensure proper quality level of delivered products / services
- Coordinate with HSE team to apply ISO 45001 and 14001 standards for all activities carried out by his team
- Manage teams work planning, operation and internal problems solving to meet with department objectives.
- Enhance documentation templates related to his group.
- Ensure that all documents, related to projects handled by his team, are properly saved and archived on company projects portal/server
- Contribute to the enhancements of the execution work flow.
- Ensure efficient processes are implemented.
- Provide feedback to the Engineering & Services Manager on the performance of his team leaders as input into their performance evaluations.
- Assess skills, knowledge, and abilities of candidates to make to identify developmental needs
- Provide generic guidance and technical support to his teams.
- Responsible for growing technical knowledge on existing and new offerings within his team
- Responsible to assign an SME within his team to be a reference for each product (offering) delivered by his team
- Plan and manage in-house and external training and development activities for his team
Personal Skills
- Good communication skills
- Very good command of English and French
- Very good leadership skills
Technical Skills
- Bachelor of Engineering with a Specialization in Civil, Electrical Engineering.
- 13-15 years’ with at least 5 years in a management role
- Excellent technical report writing skills
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably Data Centers or Control Centers.
- Strong expertise in multidisciplinary coordination (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural) and works packaging.
