Job Description
- Lead and supervise the technical engineering team and ensure timely project delivery.
- Manage engineering, design, procurement, installation, and construction activities.
- Review technical drawings, calculations, designs, and project deliverables.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Presales, Procurement, and other stakeholders on technical matters.
- Attend technical meetings and resolve technical queries and design clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality procedures, and project requirements.
- Prepare and submit technical progress reports to the Technical Manager.
- Identify technical risks and support corrective actions and process improvements.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and knowledge-sharing to the engineering team.
Personal Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills.
- Excellent command of English; French is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in different environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering, including concrete, steel, and foundations.
- Expert knowledge of SAP2000 and STAAD.Pro.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; BIM/Navisworks knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience in structural design calculations and detailed engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of international engineering standards, HSE requirements, and SLA terms.
- Good understanding of project engineering and construction processes.
Education
Bachelor degree, preferably in Engineering with a Specialization in Civil
