Job Description
- Lead and supervise the engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities related to HV/MV primary systems.
- Manage and monitor engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality technical deliverables.
- Review and approve primary system engineering drawings, layouts, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with the Presales team during tendering and proposal preparation by providing technical support for primary system solutions.
- Prepare weekly project progress reports and submit them to the Technical Manager.
- Attend project technical meetings, including Kick-Off Meetings (KOM), design review meetings, and technical clarification sessions.
- Ensure compliance with engineering procedures, quality standards, and company policies across all technical activities.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to resolve technical queries, Requests for Information (RFIs), and design clarifications.
- Support site teams during installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Monitor project schedules, technical risks, and resource utilization to ensure successful project execution.

- Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills.
- Excellent command of English; French is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in different environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills
Expert knowledge of HV/MV primary systems engineering and substation design.
Expert user of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and primary design calculation tools.
Strong expertise in substation layout optimization and equipment selection, including GIS, AIS, transformers, and switchgear.
Strong knowledge of grounding system design, lightning protection, and electrical clearance requirements.
Experience reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and vendor documentation.
Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and utility standards applicable to primary system design.
Hands-on experience supporting installation, testing, and commissioning of primary systems.
Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) project execution.
Education
Bachelor degree, preferably in Engineering with a Specialization in Electrical Engineering
