Job Description
- Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and BIM models.
- Ensure technical deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and other engineering teams to resolve technical clashes.
- Review subcontractor shop drawings and material submittals.
- Provide technical support and respond to site RFIs and client technical queries.
- Support design review meetings, value engineering, and technical coordination activities.
- Coordinate with Sales/Presales teams and provide required technical information.
- Monitor project technical execution against approved designs and requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation, reports, calculations, and project records.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and provide regular progress updates to the Team Leader.
Personal Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills.
- Excellent command of English; French is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in different environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural design, concrete, steel structures, and foundations.
- Proficiency in SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Good knowledge of international building codes and design standards.
- Experience in structural design calculations and technical report preparation.
- Knowledge of BIM/Revit Structure is an advantage.
- Experience in steel structure and telecommunication tower foundation design is preferable.
- Strong technical documentation and drawing review skills.
Education
Bachelor degree, preferably in Engineering with a Specialization in Civil
