- Lead the engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of RTU and substation automation systems across assigned projects.
- Manage and supervise the technical team, ensuring engineering deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with project requirements.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, RTU configurations, communication mappings, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Technical Managers, customers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project execution.
- Participate in project technical meetings, including Kick-Off Meetings (KOM), design reviews, and technical clarification sessions.
- Collaborate with the Presales team by providing technical expertise during proposal preparation, solution design, and project estimation.
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and system handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with engineering procedures, quality standards, cybersecurity requirements, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify technical risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules and quality objectives.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex RTU, SCADA, and communication system issues.
- Prepare and present weekly technical progress reports, project updates, and performance metrics to the Technical Manager.
- Promote continuous improvement by implementing engineering best practices, coding standards, and process enhancements.
- Mentor, coach, and develop engineers by conducting technical reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and performance guidance.
- Ensure effective knowledge management by communicating technical updates, standards, and new technologies to the engineering team.

Technical Skills
Expert knowledge of IEC 61850, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104, and Modbus communication protocols.
Extensive experience with RTU engineering, configuration, programming, and commissioning.
Strong experience integrating RTUs with SCADA, EMS, DMS, and ADMS platforms.
Hands-on experience conducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning.
Strong understanding of substation automation systems (SAS) and power utility communication architectures.
Knowledge of industrial networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, and communication gateways.
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and best practices for industrial control systems.
Ability to review engineering drawings, communication architectures, signal lists, and interface documents.
Experience troubleshooting RTU, SCADA, communication networks, and field devices.
