Technical Office Team Leader - Communication

• Lead the end-to-end technical implementation of telecommunications systems, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-availability communication between field assets and central SCADA/ADMS platforms.
• Manage the planning, engineering, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness of communication infrastructure projects.
• Lead and supervise multidisciplinary engineering and field teams responsible for microwave, MPLS-TP, OTN, LAN/WAN, RTU communications, and related telecom systems.
• Review and approve technical designs, engineering deliverables, method statements, test procedures, and installation documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with internal teams, subcontractors, customers, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee site surveys, installation, commissioning, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and system handover activities.
• Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting, incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to ensure network availability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, international standards, company procedures, quality management systems, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
• Monitor project progress, resource utilization, budgets, and schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating technical and project risks.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members by providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and knowledge sharing.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, managing technical discussions, resolving escalations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by promoting best practices, optimizing engineering processes, and enhancing communication network performance and reliability.
• Prepare and present technical progress reports, risk assessments, and project status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Support proposal development, technical planning, and resource estimation for new communication projects and business opportunities
